Justice Arthur Goldberg autographs a photograph to retired California’s Orange County Superior Court Judge James E. Rogan when Judge Rogan, retired was in Congress. Goldberg includes a sentiment “with every good wish”

The board includes a photograph of Justice Goldberg and his wife Dorothy. It adds a photograph of Goldberg in an argument (his forte) if it was of his labor expertise. There is also a letter from Dr. Ryan Goldberg a grandson of the Justice and writing on his grandfather’s Supreme Court stationary acknowledging the first day cover of John Kennedy, Jr. saluting his dad at the funeral was from his grandfather’s Justice Goldberg’s personal collection. Justice Goldberg was nominated to the court by Kennedy after Kennedy was assassinated the new president, Johnson asked Goldberg to leave the court and join the U.N. He did! He was relieved from his post at the U.N. THREE YEARS LATER. 3 years later.
